Moruba is formed by two designers from Spain: Daniel Morales and Javier Euba. They are passionate about design, often receiving national and international awards, and publishing in different books and magazines.
Rey Noble (Noble King)
“Rey Noble” is a wine inspired by one of Navarra’s most famous kings: Carlos III, nicknamed “the Noble one”. The huge blue heart evokes blue blood, symbolizing the goodness of the monarch.
“Munarrate” is a classic young Riojan wine. The meaning of the image on the label: The irregular shape is an aerial view of the town of ábalos, the origin of this wine. This design retains its identifiability for consumers.
“Solabal” This name reverses the origin of this wine upside down: ábalos, perfect and surreal solution.
“Street wine” is a series of wines with a fashionable touch of bad boys and urban edge street culture. Design iconic images from popular culture.
“8000” is the most special wine from Marqués de Burgos. The design includes the classic logo of this brand:hot air balloon, The background was vapory clouds outline Victorian illustrations, highlighting the noble qualities of this 8000-year-old grape.
“Purgatori” is a wine from the origin of Costers del Segre. It is inspired by local legends. The illustration was designed by Ala de mosca.
“Atlantic” affects the characteristics of these white wines, and also means the ocean that created the northern coastline of the peninsula,its outline appears in the design, and the creatures in the marine world also in this design.
“Malaspiedras” (wicked stones) is a wine whose name comes from the pebble topography of the winery. Its design also comes from these “wicked” or “bad” stones, commemorating its forced land to produce the best grapes.
The Big Question About Wine
“The Big Problem with Wine” is a brand whose design is inspired by the doubts of people have when drinking wine. A series of scenes that contain different roles but all raise the same issues ,This shows that doubt is only part of life, and that life like wine can be approached in various ways. “Pirineos” is a wine from Somontano. The natural environment of this winery inspired us to use the image of the horse as a metaphor to show the best wines.
“El Cosmonauta” is a unique vineyard wine. Its design captures the miniatures of the winemakers’ lives to respect their ability to produce wines. The illustration was designed by Alex Ferrero.
“VinaZorzal” is a visual story of a wine family using its classic icon (zorzal is Spanish). “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Each brand of thrush paints a story about this wine, paying tribute to its unique history.
Milflores Special Edition
“Milflores Special Edition” tries to dress up the wine that has been perfected. This bottle retains the traditional bottle of floral motifs and Christmas colors, adding an exquisite touch to the table during the festive season.
“Conde Valdemar” is an iconic Riojan wine . Subtle changes renew its image. Each element has undergone individual changes, forming an overall design that is easy to identify.
Senora de las Alturas
“Senora de las Alturas” is VinaZorzal’s most unique wine. This project is the result of the sharing of dreams by the three brothers; therefore there are three design versions of the design. Thrush is a traditional symbol of this brand (zorzal is Spanish) because it flies in idyllic illustrations to express the level of craving for this wine.
